Character Info

Revan was a legendary hero Jedi Knight who fought for the Republic during the Mandalorian Wars campaign, defying against the Jedi Council's wisdom to wait until the real threat was revealed but Revan believed that he could intervene and put an end to the war. He argued against the Jedi Council and left the Jedi Order to fight the Mandalorians in his own way. Revan had plenty of followers, he was known for such a skilled leader who knew his tactics very strongly to which the Mandalorians respected Revan's actions. However his actions had dire consequences, many Jedi and Republic soldiers followed Revan forming the Revanchists that soon led into a crusade to defeat the Mandalorians and Sith. When the Mandalorians were beaten up on Malachor V, the Republic had won but for Revan his war had not ended where he took Malak and a small fleet pursuing them into the Unknown Regions...

Despite of Revan's heroism to the Republic, his journey into the Unknown Regions had taken him to the believed homeworld of the Sith Empire, where he found the great evil back then. Revan's discovery of the Sith Empire and its Emperor had left many questions unanswered about what transpired there. Revan and his followers had fallen to the dark side returning back to Republic space attacking the Republic without warning. In an attempt of desperation, the Jedi Council sought a daring plan to capture and rescue Revan.

The mission to lure the Sith Lords (Revan and Malak) into the open had worked for the Republic, however Revan was betrayed by Malak claiming the title of the Dark Lord of the Sith for his own empire. There was much debate for Revan's own fate where the Jedi Council had reprogrammed and trained Revan as a Jedi. Revan's memories quickly returned where he was accompanied with Jedi Master Bastila Shan the path of Revan's redemption began with numerous adventures of trying to uncover what was the Star Forge and its purpose. Revan and Bastila teamed up together to confront the Sith and put an end to Darth Malak's reign of terror, along in their journey their lives were turn into peril with tempations of the dark side however Revan prevailed and continued to fight for the light. 

Bastila and Revan were successful in their mission, destroyed the Star Forge and saved the galaxy. Bastila professed her love to Revan that the two Jedi were renown as Saviors of the Republic, yet their relationship was described itiment. After Revan had been fully redeemed, his legacy was known as the Prodigal Knight, Savior of the Republic. However sometime after the death of Darth Malak and destruction of the Star Forge, the Sith Empire somewhere in the Unknown Regions continued to prepare for war however Revan's memories had returned. Revan was troubled with what he remembered, although it was speculated Revan knew something had to be done and must be dealt with alone. 

A tough decision was made that Revan had entrusted specific people to keep the Republic strong while he returned into the Unknown Regions, in search for the greater evil. He left everyone he cared and loved behind to confront the real threat in his own way. Including leaving his closest loved one, Bastila Shan who could not understand war like he did. Revan's relationship with Bastila remained in pure speculation about Satele Shan, having the blood of Revan running through her veins...

Grand Master Satele Shan is a determined fighter for peace for the Republic, her knowledge, skills and abilities in the Force brighten her followers around her during dark times prior to the Treaty of Coruscant. However Satele Shan is believed to be a decendant of Jedi Master Bastila Shan and is also implied from the comics that she could have been related to Revan as well.

The events from the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic timeline based on what did happen between Bastila Shan and Revan is still unknown. Satele Shan's first appearance in the Treaty of Coruscant as a Jedi Knight to find a solution to help reunite the Jedi Order and rally her allies to try and find those who will have the will, courage and determination to defeat the Sith Empire under one motive... the Jedi must be victorious!
