The Undercity’s swoop race event was about to begin as Krurin had arrived just in time for his first race. He was greeted by an Ithorian mechanic where he debriefed the newly recruit the race rules and regulations. Krurin nodded as he’d understood what was at stake here, he couldn’t afford to miss his chance of winning the swoop race to save the poor damsel in distressed. Krurin walked up to the counter and approached the announcer where he’d handed over a datapad that contained information of his sponsorship for the race. The alien announcer looked back at him and nodded. Then he’d instructed Krurin about the race rules again and the track details, Krurin reacted as he’d nodded firmly and was quite anxious to begin the race on his swoop bike for the Hidden Beks. The announcer acknowledged him and allowed Krurin to get inside on his swoop bike, a few minutes later Krurin had jumped inside the swoop bike and was ready to race the track. The swoop bike engines roared as he’d approached the starting line, Krurin looked over the datapad that contained the race track information and plotted his winning short cut race to beat the Vulkars. The race green started to blink as Krurin had powered up his swoop bike engines to its full potential. The sound of the loud roar echoed throughout the race track as Krurin patiently waited for the light to turn green. Then it happened, Krurin roared off to a flying start as his swoop bike swerved and dodged the obstacles down the long and narrow race track. Krurin quickly ignited his engine boaster where it made a huge noise and accelerated rapidly where Krurin had to trust his reflexes, he’d dodged the large crates and passed each checkpoint with flying colours. The crowd cheered as they’d watched him roared down towards the finishing line and crossed it with an exceptional time of 30 secs. Krurin slowed his swoop bike down to a halt and jumped out where he’d ran to the announcer and checked his race time, the announcer told him and Krurin was very pleased. Then the Black Vulkar had his turn, he raced against Krurin’s incredible time. Krurin watched him on the view screen as the crowd cheered behind him. The Black Vulkar piloted the swoop bike like a professional and just snuck under Krurin’s incredible time mark with 28 seconds. Krurin thought for a moment and noticed where he had gone wrong and was anxious to beat the time again. He ran towards the announcer, the announcer showed him to the door behind him to start the race. Krurin thought to himself for a moment and noticed where the Black Vulkar had taken his path on the left hand side of the track more than the right. He looked at the ramps and decided to use them as his advantaged. He climbed inside his swoop bike and powered up his engines where he lined himself behind the starting line. Krurin kept himself focused and concentrated on one thing, ‘save Bastila and win her freedom’ he murmured. Bastila suddenly felt the spirit of Revan was nearby, shed sensed his presence was nearby as she retained consciousness from the annoying neural disruptor that Brejik put on her. Her voice whispered inside his head, ‘May the Force be with you’ said the voice of Bastila. Krurin gripped his hands firmly over the controls and was ready to shoot off again. The light had turned green as Krurin blitzed off again with a flying start as he’d quickly punched in his boaster accelerator into action. The prototype accelerator ignited with a loud thundering roar as Krurin blitzkrieg through down the other side of the race track where he moved the swoop bike over each ramp, where he’d flowed across with a giant leap that gave him extra time on his side. He dodged and served the crates and crossed the finishing line in 24 seconds. Krurin cheered knowing that he’d won the race and got Bastila’s freedom. The crowd cheered and roared as Krurin approached the lounge arena where the announcer announced the new winner of the Hidden Beks. Everyone continued to cheer as Brejik made his entrance. “People hear me,” Brejik shouted. “This guy cheated in the swoop race!” “You are a damn liar Brejik!” Krurin said abruptly. “I might have something to say about that Brejik,” Bastila shouted. Bastila held her right hand out and where shed use her Force power ability of Force push that opened the cage door. The Vulkar guard tried to sedate her but he was quickly knocked out by Bastila’s swift high kick to the head. Shed then grabbed the Black Vulkar’s double sided sword where she was posed to strike at any moment. “What? Impossible!” Brejik said astonishingly. “You were restrained by a neural disruptor. How could you summon the will to free yourself?” “You underestimate the strength of a Jedi’s mind, Brejik,” Bastila replied abruptly. “A mistake that, you won’t live to regret!” “Vulkars to me,” Brejik demanded. “Kill the Republic soldier, kill the swoop rider! Kill them all!” Krurin quickly pulled out his vibroblade and quickly took off the Vulkar swoop rider’s head where he’d laid flat faced dead on the floor. The crowd fled in the commotion as Bastila assisted the swoop rider winner without knowing who he was at first by his appearance. Bastila quickly engaged herself in a duel against Brejik and fought against him gallantly. Krurin quickly grabbed the other Black Vulkar behind Bastila where he’d twisted his vibroblade against him at every turn where it knocked him off the arena platform where he took a nasty fall and plummeted to the ground and killed him instantly. Krurin glanced back at Bastila and charged in towards Brejik. Bastila defended herself as shed tried to kill Brejik then suddenly she was caught off guard, before Brejik had the chance to slay her. Krurin had lashed out at Brejik and delivered a decisive blow to the head, his vibroblade had sliced straight thought Brejik’s head where his body felled to the right while the head rolled down the arena to the left. Bastila was shocked and almost vomited in front of him. Krurin looked at her firmly and noticed her face had turned pale on him, as his vibroblade was filled with blood on it. He then inserted his vibroblade back inside his armour and walked over towards Brejik’s dead carcass. He looked inside Brejik’s armour and found Bastila’s topaz lightsaber and clothing. “Maybe those bloody Vulkars will think twice before having a Jedi prisoner,” Bastila said harshly. “And as for you, if you think you can have me as…” Bastila stood there and watched the swoop bike rider had grabbed her stuff and walked towards her. Then shed recognised the face, the face of Revan the one shed admired most but no matter shed wanted to say hello to Revan, her orders from the Jedi High Council strictly told her not to tell this individual that he is in fact Revan yet. “Wait a sec, I recognised you. You must be one of the Republic soldiers from the fleet aren’t you?” Bastila said surprisingly. “Yes I’m sure of it! How did you end up with the swoop gangs?” “It’s a long story,” Krurin replied. “My name is Krurin Masaror and I’m here to save you. We should get going while we can.” “Save me?” Bastila said surprisingly. “Is that what you tried to accomplish from the swoop race? That rescue was a pretty poor example. In case you hadn’t noticed, I managed to free myself from that annoying neural restraint without you help. In fact it’s more accurate that I saved you!” “Don’t be ridiculous,” Krurin argued. “Brejik and his followers would have killed you if I haven’t stepped in and intervened,” Bastila said abruptly. “You’re fortunate that I got you out of this mess!” “Bastila, I think you have yourself confused,” Krurin remarked. “You were helpless until I came along.” “I guess you’re right,” Bastila admitted. “I shouldn’t be too hard on you. Considering that you did try to save me, even if it didn’t go quite as well planned but anyway let’s get down to business shall we? We aren’t out of danger yet.” There was a short pause as Bastila had suited up herself into her Jedi outfit and Krurin handed the lightsaber over to her. Krurin thought for a moment where he’d suspected that the next question was about was he the only survivor from the Endar Spire. Bastila looked at him firmly and spoke. “I need to figure out what resources we have in order for us to escape Taris alive. Are we the only last two survivors from the Endar Spire?” Bastila asked. “Carth and I are working on a plan to get us out of here,” Krurin replied firmly. “Carth Onasi is still alive? That’s wonderful news,” Bastila smiled, her voice sounded relieved as Krurin had told her the good news. “Carth is one of the best Republic soldiers we have. He’s proved himself a hero dozens of times, and he sent you here I take it?” “Well it was the only way I guess,” Krurin sighed. “Perhaps I have misjudged you earlier Krurin. Carth wouldn’t have sent you down here unless he was so confident in your… abilities,” Bastila said nervously. “Forgive me what I said earlier, despite my Jedi training I tend to act rashly sometimes.” “So I’ve noticed,” Krurin smirked. “Hey who said I asked you for your damn opinion?!” Bastila said abruptly. “It was merely a joke Bastila, sheesh,” Krurin frowned. “I’m sorry,” Bastila sighed. “Please take me to Carth right away, between the three of us I’m sure we can figure something out.” Krurin walked out the door with Bastila followed closely behind him all the way back to the surface of Taris. Krurin looked at Bastila for a moment where he’d felt quite awkward to talk to her about anything, the strange vision he had and their plans of escaping. Two hours later had passed as Krurin and Bastila had returned to the surface of Taris where they rendezvoused with Carth and the others back in their hideout. Bastila felt so relieved with Krurin’s help even though she didn’t want to admit it at first. The hideout door opened as Carth’s eyes opened wide and was so relieved to see his friend alive. “Bastila you’re alive!” Carth cheered. “Glad things are shaping up, now we have to figure out how we get off this planet.” “You mean you don’t have a way to get off this planet yet?” Bastila said disappointedly. “What were you doing all this time?” “We were trying to find you, remember?” Krurin pointed out. “I see. Now I’m back in charge here, things would run smoothly than the commotion we had with Brejik,” Bastila insulted. “I know you are new at this Bastila, a leader does not berate her troops because things don’t go as planned,” Carth replied sharply. “Don’t let your ego overcome your judgement on the current situation.” “That hardly strikes me an appropriate way to addressing your commanding officer Carth,” Bastila said abruptly. “I am a member of the Jedi Order and this is my mission, remember that! My Battle Meditation ability has helped the Republic on many occasions, it will help us for sure.” “Your talent may win us a few battles Bastila but it doesn’t make you as a good leader,” Carth reminded her. “A good leader will at least listen to those who give you advice of those who have seen more combat.” “Both of you settle down!” Krurin demanded. “This is childish right now, we should be worrying about how to escape from Taris and this isn’t helping.” “Yes you’re right of course,” Bastila admitted. “I apologise Carth. Of course I’m happy to listen to your advice on the matter. What do you suggest we do?” “First of all we need to find a way to get off this rock and don’t get all hung up about who’s in charge here. We need to work together on this one,” Carth replied. “The answer is out there somewhere. We just need to find it.” “Well said Carth,” Bastila nodded. “The sooner we find a way, the better. I’ve already been captured by the Vulkars once and I don’t intend to get myself captured by the Sith.” “Don’t worry I’ll protect you,” Krurin comforted her. Bastila blushed for the first time as shed felt quite awkward that the new Revan seemed to have a crush on her. Krurin walked away from Bastila for a moment and stood beside the door where he was ready to get outside. Bastila stared at Krurin firmly and noticed his face was all scrunched up all of sudden and noticed he felt awkward when he first met her. Suddenly a vision had reappeared again from the Force, that displayed Bastila fighting against a dark Jedi on the Sith flagship of Darth Revan again. Krurin saw it in his own eyes and without a benefit of a doubt, it was Bastila onboard the Dark Lord’s flagship and noticed that the other Sith warship in the background had opened fire on the bridge that knocked everyone to the floor injured or unconscious. “Is something wrong Krurin?” Bastila asked curiously. “You seemed troubled.” “Well… I… had a strange vision lately before I’d rescued you,” Krurin said nervously. “Please go on,” Bastila replied nervously, where shed sensed that she had the same vision he had about her fighting Revan on his flagship before Malak had turned against him. “I had a vision of you fighting Revan,” Krurin replied softly. “This is strange…” Bastila said awkwardly. “Such visions can lead to Force sensitivity.” “Are you saying I can use the Force?” Krurin asked. “I’m not sure,” Bastila replied nervously. “Such connections to the Force are very little known to us. It’s not unheard of either. When we first met, your natural talent may have fed off my own Force abilities. It’s possible that the Force has allowed you to see my intense memories.” “Is it possible I can be a Jedi?” Krurin asked. “Anything is possible,” Bastila replied firmly. “The Force acts in mysterious ways. Like my Battle Meditation for example, it didn’t come to me straight away. It was a rare gift that the Jedi Council found inside me and they’d helped me to master it.” “Sounds like to me the Force is quite complicated to understand,” Krurin nodded. “The Force is complicated,” Bastila said harshly. “During the years of Jedi training I had. I myself never understood it fully but it’s wise to leave it with the Jedi Council to decide at best. However I think we should stay focused on the task at hand.” “Okay,” Krurin frowned. Krurin looked at the door and was about to pressed button to open it but he’d felt Bastila’s soft hand touched his right arm and pulled it away towards her. Krurin nervously looked at the gorgeous Jedi and wondered what she had on her mind. Carth was watching them and shrugged his shoulders, giving an innocent look on his that he didn’t know what Bastila intended to do. “Before we do, I would like to know what happened after you crashed on Taris,” Bastila said curiously. “I’m curious to know what you and Carth did before we’d all joined forces.” “Before we rescued you, you mean,” Krurin replied firmly. “I managed to free myself I recall,” Bastila reminded him. “If it weren’t for me, Brejik and his thugs would have killed you. Probably more likely the case I saved you.” “Can’t you admit that I rescued you?” Krurin sighed. “Strangely you didn’t escape until I arrived, I recalled.” “I admit that probably I wouldn’t have been able to free myself, if not the brawl after the swoop race. I guess I should thank you for that at least,” Bastila sighed. “What amazed me was that your presence at the swoop race intrigued me a little. It couldn’t have been an easy task yet somehow you managed.” “What can I say? I’m a talented individual,” Krurin chuckled. “Yes I see,” Bastila smiled. “You avoided detection from the Sith, discovered I was a Vulkar prisoner, gained sponsorship for the swoop race and became the swoop race champion. That is quite a resume.” Krurin was astonished as Bastila had complimented his tremendous work. He felt comfortable as he spoke with her than they first met, suddenly he felt his emotions boodled up inside him itched towards the sign of love and compassion for Bastila. Suddenly another memory loss of Revan had returned, the cheeky version of him. Krurin thought for a moment and tried to flatter the gorgeous Jedi. “And rescued the damsel in distress, don’t forget that,” Krurin pointed out. “Yes well, I hardly call myself a damsel in distress Krurin,” Bastila smiled. “I’m a member of the Jedi Order however I will admit that you have impressed me quite a fair bit, there is no denying about that. You were chosen to join this mission because I was confident from the reports I read about your profile. A Jedi however would have done so much but only drawing heavily with the Force.” “Yes I see what you mean,” Krurin admitted. “The Force you were saying?” “The Force is in all of us, though the majority is a barely measurable whisper but there are some individuals outside the Jedi Order that we considered Force sensitive,” Bastila replied firmly. “It’s obvious that the Force is working through you and that might be the explanation for your great success so far, though I’m not certain with it to be honest. Perhaps if you were… younger, the Jedi Council might have considered taking you in for training.” “Hey I earned it, I think?” Krurin said confusingly. “Remember I was the one who rescued the gorgeous Jedi.” “Ah yes the rescue again,” Bastila blushed. “For what it’s worth, I concede to the point that you did rescue me from Brejik though we are still stuck here on Taris. Between your abilities and our companions, I’m sure we will find a way to get out of here.” Krurin then had opened the sealed door and signalled Carth to come along and join him with Bastila at his side. Mission and Zaalbar nodded and sat door on the couch eating some food and drank a bottle of Tarisian ale. As Krurin, Bastila and Carth headed outside the door, a green Twi’lek approached them at a rapid pace. Carth quickly pressed the button and closed the door behind them, Krurin looked at the green Twi’lek and noticed it was the same salesperson just down the corridor. The green Twi’lek stood there in front of Krurin where he spoke with him, relaying a message from a Mandalorian named Canderous Ordo. “You there human, you are the winner from the Undercity swoop race yes?” asked the Twi’lek. “Yes that’s me,” Krurin nodded. “I have a message from Canderous Ordo,” said the Twi’lek. “He wants to meet you in the cantina.” “Tell him I’ll be there shortly,” Krurin replied. “Good,” said the Twi’lek anxiously. “You better hurry though, Mandalorians are known for many things but patience is not their virtue.” “Wouldn’t that be the guy we met earlier in the Undercity?” Carth whispered into Krurin’s ear. Krurin nodded as he walked down the isle passed the green Twi’lek and noticed that Dia’s door was still open inside. Carth and Bastila waited outside as Krurin quickly walked in and told the frightened Dia the good news. “You’re back,” Dia smiled. “Did you manage to talk to Holdan and convince him to withdraw the price on my head?” “Yes I did,” Krurin said cheerfully. “Holdan has agreed to remove the bounty, you have your freedom back.” “He called the bounty off? That’s wonderful news. Oh thank you so much,” Dia replied happily. “I only wish I had something to give you as your reward. Wait a minute I know, it’s a family heirloom. It’s not much but it’s something.” “Don’t worry about it Dia, helping you was good enough for me,” Krurin smiled. “I can never truly repay you but you’ll always have my thanks for what you did,” Dia said anxiously. Krurin then had walked out the room and ran down the corridor where he stood outside the apartment with Bastila and Carth closely followed behind him. Bastila was astonished that Krurin had a generous and noble gesture of good inside him, she looked deep inside him and found the mind of Revan was miraculously healing itself slowly. She thought for a moment that it was possible that the goodness of Revan has returned back. Half an hour later had passed as Krurin led Carth and Bastila into the Taris cantina. There they walked inside and found a Mandalorian stood there without his gun on him. Krurin and Carth recognised the Mandalorian as he approached them, Krurin glanced at Carth whispered ‘Keep an eye out for trouble’ he said firmly. “I saw you in the swoop race, very impressive,” said Canderous. “You seem to know how to get results, and I have something interesting for you.” “Who are you?” Krurin asked. “That name’s Canderous Ordo,” Canderous replied. “I work for Davik Kang and the Exchange; the hours aren’t great but they’d promised me a fortune to work for them and have nothing else better to do. Mandalorian mercs like me are in high popular demand but lately Davik hasn’t been paying me what he promised. I don’t like being cheated upon, so I figured it’s time for me to move on and get off this forsaken planet. I got a plan to escape Taris and I can’t do it alone, I need someone I know that can get the job done. That’s where you come in.” “Careful Krurin,” Carth warned. “Mercs like this haven’t lick of conscience… they’ll betray you in a heartbeat. This could be a trap.” “I ain’t talking to you,” Canderous snorted. “I’m talking to your friend here aren’t I?” “You have my attention,” Krurin replied firmly. “I saw you won the swoop race and started thinking it over,” Canderous pointed out. “Anybody crazy enough to volunteer a race like that would be crazier enough to infiltrate the Sith military base. I need someone to steal those Sith authorisation launch codes that will get us out of here.” “What’s in this for me?” Krurin asked curiously. “You get the codes, I’ll provide the vehicle to get us off the planet,” Canderous negotiated. “That would be Davik’s flagship, the Ebon Hawk.” “How are you going to manage that?” Krurin asked surprisingly. “Uh-uh, not yet, first get me the launch codes then I’ll tell you the rest of the plan,” Canderous said firmly. “Alright, how am I supposed to infiltrate the military base?” Krurin asked. “Getting inside the base won’t be easy,” Canderous warned him. “It would be surely guarded with a complicated security system but luckily for you I have a droid that can do it. Go to the droid workshop that is in the northern streets of Taris and speak with a Twi’lek named Janice Nall. Tell her I sent you and she’ll sell you the droid, Davik doesn’t care who buys it as long someone gets the launch codes he cares about. Normally I do it myself but I’m too valuable for Davik, too valuable for you as well because you need someone to disable the security system of the Ebon Hawk.” “Okay Canderous you have deal,” Krurin replied firmly, he hand shook with Canderous. “Strange I sense no deception from him which is surprising I admit,” Bastila said puzzling. “This might be the answer we are looking for.” “I’ll wait for you in Javyar’s cantina. Meet me there once you have the launch codes so we can blast off this rock,” Canderous said firmly. Canderous walked away outside the cantina as Krurin and the others followed behind him. As they’d got outside, Krurin quickly ran through the streets of Taris to the northern side of place where he found the droid workshop and confronted the Twi’lek Janice Nall as Canderous told him. “I’m here about purchasing a droid on behalf of Canderous Ordo,” Krurin said firmly. “Canderous sent you? That’s wonderful news,” replied Janice cheerfully. “The droid T3-M4 will be 2500 credits please.” “Let me handle this,” Bastila whispered. “Bastila, not the Jedi mind trick,” Krurin said softly. Bastila waved her left hand a little to side where shed used the Force as her persuasive measure and convinced the Twi’lek to lower the price into there favour. Krurin looked at Bastila for a moment, he knew that he had enough credits to pay for the droid but he’d never experienced Bastila would have interrupted his negotiation. “Don’t worry,” Bastila smiled, then shed used the Force persuasion method. “Lower the price of the droid to 1000 credits because we work for Davik Kang.” “Very well since you work for Davik, I’m willing to lower the price to 1000 credits,” Janice replied softly. “There you go Krurin, it’s all yours,” Bastila whispered. “Bastila, I never seen you did this before,” Carth admitted. “Why are you helping him like this?” “My business is between Krurin and I, don’t interfere,” Bastila snapped. “Okay then…” Carth said nervously. “Here are the 1000 credits,” Krurin said firmly. “Pleasure doing business with you,” Janice replied anxiously. Krurin, Carth and Bastila walked out of the workshop where the droid T3-M4 followed closely behind them. Krurin then ran down the street towards the military base and stood in front of the door. He glanced back behind him and noticed the droid was ready to follow his command. “Okay T3-M4, open the door,” Krurin ordered. The droid quickly moved up closer to the door and plugged itself to the security override panel, after a few minutes the door opened before them. Bastila looked at Krurin firmly, Krurin glanced back at her and Carth then he walked inside the Sith base with the droid followed closely behind them. The second door inside the Sith base opened in front of them where the Republic heroes were confronted with a Twi’lek slave working for the Sith, she looked at Krurin firmly and addressed them accordingly. “This is the Sith base, I don’t recognise you here,” said the Twi’lek receptionist. “I’ll raise the alarm if you don’t leave now.” “Hey don’t press the alarm,” Krurin persuaded. “Here, take 50 credits and leave the Sith facility.” “Alright, you have a deal,” said the Twi’lek confidently. “I’ll leave at once before something happens. Get going.” “We’re in, now what?” Carth asked. “I’m sure Krurin knows what to do next,” Bastila said confidently. Krurin rushed over to the receptionist desk and quickly started tampering with the security system. After a few minutes he’d managed to bypass the well decrypted security system and started tampering with the base defences. “Whoa that’s a big security droid,” Krurin remarked. “That’s no ordinary droid,” Carth said surprisingly. “That’s an assault droid.” “Hold on… let me try to,” Krurin replied. “There you go. Assault droid shields and weapon systems deactivated.” Krurin then looked around the whole Sith base through each security system and started tampering with the power conduits. He overloaded them and killed any Sith soldiers or bots nearby, then he saw the security defence grid turrets protecting the assault droid and disabled them. Then he noticed there were several bots in the infirmary and with a press of a button, Krurin had disabled all of them. Within a few minutes later the base had gone quiet, dead silent. After enough tampering, Krurin had initialised the final code where he override the system door locks and opened them all, including access to an elevator that led to the second floor. “Let’s go,” Krurin said confidently. “The base is defenceless, now all we have to do is find those launch codes.” After a few minutes, Bastila, Carth and Krurin had walked down the corridor where they’d ran into an alien held captive inside a force shield. Krurin looked at the alien and noticed who it was, he then saw the force shield control panel on the wall and deactivated the force shield. The alien thanked Krurin and ran away. Krurin then ran down the corridor with Bastila and Carth followed behind him all the way to the elevator. They’d went down to the second floor and found themselves confronted with a Sith inspector. The Sith inspector looked at Krurin firmly and noticed who it was, the identity of Revan and glanced over to this left where he’d recognised Bastila was with him. “Who dares enter my base, oh it’s you,” said the Sith inspector harshly. “You Sith have caused nothing but destruction upon yourselves,” said Krurin firmly. “Spoken like the Jedi Council,” snarled the Sith inspector. “I will enjoy killing you and your companions as well.” Krurin quickly charged in with his vibroblade and collided with the Sith soldier in a duel. Bastila ignited her topaz double bladed lightsaber and helped Krurin whilst Carth stood back with his blaster rifles and blasted away from the distance. After a few seconds the Sith soldier felled onto the floor, Krurin quickly grabbed the datapad and checked it. “Excellent,” Krurin smiled. “This is the ticket out of here, let’s move.” An hour later, Krurin, Bastila and Carth had escaped the Sith military base unnoticed, along with the droid T3-M4 behind them. Carth took T3-M4 back with him to the apartment hideout, as Krurin and Bastila then rushed their way to Javyar’s cantina and confronted Canderous with the good news. There inside Javyar’s cantina, Krurin walked towards Canderous and spoke with him. “I heard that someone broke inside the military base and I knew it was you, do you have the launch codes?” Canderous asked. “Yes,” Krurin replied. “Now about your part of the bargain we’ve agreed on.” “Davik is looking for new recruits,” said Canderous coldly. “I’ll take you to him with a recommendation. We’ll go in and steal the Ebon Hawk then rescue your friends.” “It’s too risky,” Bastila urged. “We should find another way.” “Do you have another way sister?” Canderous mocked her. “I bet you don’t have a better way than I have, unless you are a coward.” “No, I don’t have a better way,” Bastila frowned. “Nevertheless I could say more about you being a coward.” “Same I could say about you,” Canderous said coldly. “Now, are you ready to go to Davik’s estate.” “Yes I am and my companion is coming with me,” Krurin told him. “Very well,” Canderous nodded. “I’ll tell Davik that you’re friend here is a slave of yours.” Bastila looked at Canderous with an evil glaring look on her face, Krurin frowned admitting that Canderous could have respected the Jedi but Mandalorians don’t have any respect for the Republic, they’d lost against the Republic in the last war and were beaten back all the way to their homeworld, stripped from their honour and pride.
