A few hours later had gone passed as the Jedi Council debated over the issue about Revan’s future. Master Vrook remained stubborn on all counts as the other Jedi Council members tirelessly tried to persuade him, that the new redeemed Revan would not betray the Republic again unless he was pushed over the breaking point. Whilst Master Vrook on the other hand feared that their redeemed prodigal knight would embrace the dark side as he once did when he’d followed down to an all too familiar path.

Meanwhile back on the Jedi enclave, Krurin, Bastila and Carth were discussing over a minor dispute about what happened with the Jedi Council. Carth looked at Bastila sharply and abused her a little where he had ran out of patience, whilst Krurin on the other hand had kept quiet in the corner and wondered what the Jedi Council had in store for him.

Krurin walked over towards the Jedi monument statue with a couple of short trees behind it in the middle of the Jedi enclave and stared at them for awhile. Suddenly a female Jedi Knight approached him, it was Beleya. Shed noticed Krurin was looking at the Jedi monument and stood beside him.

“What a beautiful piece of artwork don’t you think?” Beleya said anxiously.

“It’s nice,” Krurin nodded. “Kinda reminds me of someone I use to know.”

“Well this is a Jedi monument of Revan actually,” Beleya said firmly. “However in these bleak times, no one mentioned his name again.”

            “Why?” Krurin frowned.

“When Bastila had killed Revan,” Beleya replied. “Not many people did appreciate what Bastila had done, he could have been saved but obviously it wasn’t meant to be.”

“I take it some Jedi have a grudge held against her,” Krurin sighed.

“Not everyone in the Jedi Order entirely blamed Bastila,” Beleya told him. “What Bastila had done was a noble thing but also a foolish thing, although Malak has now claimed the title of Dark Lord of the Sith. Regrettably like the others I wish Revan was still alive, we need him to stop Malak for us.”

“Are you saying that no one is strong enough to defeat the Dark Lord of the Sith?” Krurin asked.

“To be honest, I didn’t know Revan that well. Our masters tell us Revan was always the strongest than Malak,” Beleya admitted. “But as for you Padawan, your power is incredibly strong I noticed. I can feel your power flowing through you.”

“I’m not a Padawan… yet,” Krurin reminded her.

“Don’t get me wrong Krurin,” Beleya contradicted. “For a person like you to enter the Jedi Council throne and meet them. It’s possible for the likes of you to become a great Jedi some day.”

“Perhaps,” Krurin smiled. “I should leave you alone Jedi as you have other duties to attend to.”

“Call me Beleya, it was nice to meet you,” Beleya nodded. “Enjoy your pleasant stay on Dantooine.”

Beleya walked away in the distance as Krurin was left alone where he glared at the statue. The wind whistled a little around the statue and the trees leaves flapped along. Krurin looked at the plague below the statue where it said, “The Force is my valour and ally. I declare the Republic should be free from tyranny.” Then he’d looked a bit further down where he noticed something rather odd on the plague until he was interrupted by a Jedi Master, it was Master Zhar.

Master Zhar touched Krurin’s left shoulder and looked at him firmly; Krurin glanced back as he’d rolled his eyes towards the Twi’lek Jedi and waited for his response. Bastila and Carth were in the distance on the other side of the Jedi enclave where they’d noticed Master Zhar was standing beside their companion.

“The Council wishes to speak with you,” Master Zhar said firmly.

Krurin nodded, as he’d turned round towards the Jedi Council throne room the Force had interfered with a vision. It was another vision of Revan and Malak again, Krurin felt the dark side had made his heart cold as he looked at the dark clothed red, silver, black robe Jedi named Revan and the presence of the black triangular pillar irritated his mind. Bastila then received the same vision as Krurin did with Carth stood there confused as he looked at her.

Krurin heard Malak’s voice in background repeatedly saying the words, ‘The Jedi will surely banish us,’ Malak’s voice warned. The room was dark as he saw Malak’s face and the presence of the dark side caused Krurin to tremble a little, then he’d heard Bastila’s voice in the background where shed whispered, ‘I’m here, be strong Krurin’, she said calmly.

Krurin then felt quite calm again as he’d watched Revan and Malak had opened the sealed ancient door from the Jedi ancestors where they’d walked through towards the black pillar where it flung wide open with a hovering ball, it glowed and displayed a global map of the galaxy with four other gold dots then suddenly the Force vision had vanished once more.

With the Force vision had vanished off into the wilderness, the mind of Revan started to bring back other memories as well but little did Krurin know he was the Dark Lord of the Sith. Krurin tilted his head forward and shook it with his left hand covered his forehead where he produced a deep breath and exhaled slowly.

“What the -,” Krurin said confusingly.

Master Zhar glanced at Krurin where he’d sensed the future Padawan had experienced a vision from the Force and also discovered Revan’s mind had manifested itself with another vision. Bastila was standing closely behind them with Carth stared at her puzzled and wondered what was going on.

            “Revan… Krurin…” Bastila muttered.

“There you go again,” Carth interrupted. “I heard you said Revan and Krurin clearly this time.”

“What? No,” Bastila exclaimed. “I mean…”

Bastila blushed nervously as shed didn’t want to admit that she had feelings for Revan or even wanted to mention to her close friend that she had experienced a vision from the Force with Krurin who in fact she knew it was Revan all along. She glanced at Master Zhar and wondered if it had to do with her bond shed established with Revan. Master Zhar had felt the young Padawan’s curiosity that made her confused.

“You’re hiding something aren’t you Bastila,” Carth said firmly.

“I have no idea what you are talking about,” Bastila frowned.

            “Well I do,” Carth snapped.

Before Carth had said anything, Bastila raised her right hand towards Carth and muted his voice for a second. Carth spoke but none of his words produced a sound, Carth chattered away then he’d soon realised Bastila had cut him off. Bastila smirked at him and glanced back at Master Zhar.

“Come with me Padawan Bastila,” Master Zhar ordered. “The Council awaits your presence.”

“As you wish master,” Bastila nodded.

Krurin and Bastila followed Master Zhar to the Jedi Council throne room where they leaved the confused Carth behind. Carth stood there and watched his companions followed the Jedi Master, he then followed them inside where he found himself standing near the Jedi Council throne room entrance and waited patiently as he’d observed Bastila and Krurin both stood there at attention.

Master Vrook looked at the programmed Revan sharply while Master Dorak used his Force ability to scan inside Krurin’s mind. Master Zhar stood there and tilted his head towards Master Vandar giving him a slight nod on the head. Master Vandar then looked at the puzzled Bastila where he’d felt a great disturbance in the Force had occurred recently, the memory of Revan had touched her mind that showed a vision of Revan and Malak had found an artefact on Dantooine, the Jedi Master paused for a moment where he’d addressed her formerly.

“Padawan Bastila,” Master Vandar said flatly. “I sense you are troubled.”

Bastila glanced at Krurin for a moment where shed noticed her companion had a guilty conscience look on his face where he wondered what was going on. Then suddenly Bastila had realised Revan’s mind had manifested itself even further as shed felt a powerful surge link had been established between them, she looked at Master Vandar sharply where she communicated with him telepathically.

“Yes Master,” Bastila replied bluntly. “A vision of the Force had appeared with Revan and Malak had found an artefact of some kind here on Dantooine. Perhaps it was some sort of ruin or dark temple with a large, wide corridor. The dark side presence was there.”

“Disturbing this puzzle is,” Master Vandar nodded. “Hard to predict how the dark side consumed Revan and Malak, perhaps we should investigate this further.”

            “Also master,” Bastila frowned.

“What is it child?” Vandar asked.

“I… I’d experienced a link with Revan every time we had a vision from the Force,” said Bastila reluctantly. “Why is this so?”

Master Vandar stood there for a moment and looked at Krurin where he’d sensed a strange bond had formed up between them. Both Bastila and Krurin appeared to be more headstrong together, the Jedi Master scanned Krurin’s mind and found something rather interesting, the Force has grown stronger than expected as the mind continued to heal itself and recalled the memories of the former Revan.

“It must be something to do when you touched him before you left Darth Revan’s flagship,” Master Vandar implied. “Yes that would make sense. When you touched Revan before you escaped Malak’s betrayal, your Jedi mind somehow established a bond with Revan or it could mean that Revan wanted to share a bond with you, however that’s another matter I’m not sure about. We should discuss about this later.”

“I feel awkward about this Master Vandar,” Bastila shrugged.

“Understandable though it may be,” Vandar admitted. “However for now we should consult with you and the new Revan together later on this.”

“I respect your wishes Master Vandar,” Bastila nodded.

Bastila glanced at Krurin for a moment where shed sensed Master Vandar had telepathically informed the other Jedi Council members, there was a short pause for a moment where everything had become quite silent and still. Krurin stared at the wall behind Master Vandar then he glanced at Bastila with a slight smile on his face. As he’d smiled at the glamorous Bastila, Master Zhar looked at Krurin firmly where he addressed him promptly.

“Padawan Bastila informs us she saw a disturbing vision from the Force,” Master Zhar said firmly. “Also there was a slight complication in between…”

“What do you mean?” Krurin asked curiously.

“What Master Zhar trying to explain was that you probably had the same vision as Bastila did you not?” Master Dorak interrupted.

“You want me to tell my recent vision; perhaps it would clear a few things?” Krurin proclaimed.

“Go on,” Master Dorak nodded. “Clear your mind and focus.”

Within a few minutes Krurin had found himself on the same vision he found Darth Revan and his apprentice Malak at his side standing outside a doorway in the corridor. Krurin calmed himself further as he waited Revan and Malak to make their move.

“Tell us what you are seeing Krurin,” Master Dorak said softly.

“I see… Revan and Malak in a corridor outside a sealed door,” Krurin whispered. “It looks like Revan is about to open the door. I keep hearing Malak’s same line, ‘the Jedi will surely banish us’ over and over. Wait…”

There was a short pause as the Jedi Council curiously watched Krurin explained it thoroughly. Krurin then gasped as he saw Revan had unlocked the ancient sealed archway, where he’d felt cold inside as the two greatest Jedi Knight’s strolled inside where he found himself watching the triangular black pillar had flung itself wide open with a glowing sphere and then a map, suddenly the Force vision had blanked out on him.

Master Zhar looked at Bastila where he noticed that she had the same vision as the reprogrammed Revan did. Master Vandar glanced at Master Dorak where he consulted with him, and asked ‘could this be the reason for Revan’s selfish downfall’ Master Vrook stood there and sniggered slightly where he suspected all along that Revan did found something on Dantooine but the question was where.

            “Intriguing,” Master Dorak admitted.

“Bastila had told us the same thing,” Master Vandar added. “It would appear that you two are having the same visions together.”

“I trust you judgement Master Vandar,” Krurin nodded. “But I neglect to say that this isn’t the first time I had a vision from the Force.”

“No matter,” Master Vandar insisted as he waved his right hand to the side.

“Those ruins you saw Krurin,” Master Zhar interrupted. “Do you think it was somewhere here on Dantooine?”

“Not sure to be quite honest,” Krurin said honestly. “Why… do you know something?”

“There is an old temple not far from the academy, its out on the fields,” Master Dorak replied sharply. “However let’s concentrate for you becoming a Jedi.”

“As you wish Jedi Masters,” Krurin nodded.

“Keep in mind we have little choice in the matter,” Master Vandar added. “Many of our Jedi brethren have either fallen or joined the Sith.”

Krurin crossed his arms and looked at Master Vandar curiously, the young future Jedi Knight was astonished to hear that so many Jedi Knights in the order had betrayed them or were culled by the Sith. He thought for a moment as he was reluctant to begin his Jedi training, Bastila looked at Krurin firmly and encouraged him through the bond to continue and told him that she needed him at her side to defeat Malak.

“Why are so many Jedi turning to the dark side?” Krurin asked astonishingly.

“Some Jedi think the ways of obedience, wisdom, peace and clarity take too long,” Master Dorak stated. “Some have chosen the easier path rather than seeking knowledge and utilising it but for those who have fallen, all they could see is corruption and destruction.”

“Well I know I have little choice on the matter,” Krurin frowned. “And I know Malak will find me sooner or later because of my powers that I have. I will do what you ask of me.”

“The Force flows through you like no student we have ever seen. But you are wilful and headstrong… a dangerous combination,” Master Vrook commented.

“The Council has decreed that you and Bastila would go and investigate the ruins you two dreamed of… once the Council deems that you are ready to proceed,” Master Vandar remarked.

“Perhaps you will find what happened to Revan and Malak’s downfall, any clues would be helpful at this point. Also this would help you find a way to stop the Dark Lord of the Sith,” Master Dorak said firmly.

“I accept the offer,” Krurin nodded. “When do I begin my Jedi training?”

“You begin your Jedi training at once,” Master Zhar said anxiously. “You have a destiny that lies upon you and only you can choose its fate. Whatever the outcome will be, you must be prepared to face the upcoming challenges.”

“I only hope you will you prove up to your task,” Master Vrook insisted, waving his fist at Krurin.

Krurin, Bastila and Master Zhar were taken outside into the Jedi enclave were the Jedi pair commenced their intensive training under the influence and mentorship of Master Zhar. The two Padawan’s grabbed a silver vibroblade each, a sword made out of shear metal Master Zhar placed Krurin on defence while Bastila attacked, the two Padawan’s tested their strengths as the Jedi Master watched them closely.

Master Zhar observed Krurin closely, the Jedi Master sensed the former Dark Lord of the Sith regained his strength and wisdom, he watched Krurin swerved the vibroblade at Bastila and blocked every attack or dodged fluently. The Jedi Master soon sensed a huge power level increase inside Krurin, within minutes the promising student had proven himself worthy and his strength was unlimited.

“The path you will walk is difficult. Intensive training will prepare you both physically and mentally in order to meet the demands of the Jedi Order,” Master Zhar told Krurin. “Meditation will help you channel the power of the Force.”

Bastila fought Krurin for a moment and her too sensed Krurin’s amazing power level increase that shock her greatly. The Force flowed through him like no other Jedi has seen and his powers were almost just a strong as her own. For four hours they trained non stop until Master Zhar stepped in and took Krurin towards the chronicler of the academy, Master Dorak.

“Seek wisdom in the teachings of our Jedi Order,” Master Zhar said firmly. “A Jedi is never alone. Others in the Order will always stand by you. You and Bastila share a special connection, do not be afraid to turn to her for advice whenever you need it in your training or your journey ahead.”

Master Dorak greeted Krurin Masaror with open arms, the wilful knowledge Jedi Master showed the promising pupil the archives of the Jedi history. To the teachings of the Force powers that the Jedi Knights of the past used, the former Dark Lord of the Sith read through every book and datapad archive throughout the whole entire Jedi Academy and was purified with a the wealth of knowledge. Master Dorak questioned Krurin periodically and found promising results.

The prodigal knight studies for six more additional hours and rested. The following morning, Bastila was on her way to the Jedi Council throne room. She sensed Revan’s spirit was nearby, the curious woman walked inside a conference room and she dropped her lightsaber to the ground. Bastila witnessed the redeemed Revan was in the middle of meditating, she watched on and looked at Krurin.

“Krurin! You have the chairs and books floating around you,” Bastila said surprisingly."The Force does flow through you, your power..."

“So?” Krurin smirked then raised his right eyebrow. "I'm training you know..."

“I’m going to find Master Zhar at once,” Bastila said excitedly. “Stay there.”

“Yeah, yeah, I’m not going anywhere,” Krurin said sarcastically.

Krurin continued his meditation, the chairs and the books inside the room were lifted into the air and his body too hovered over the ground. The power of Force flowed through the redeemed prodigal knight’s veins and his power grow at a rapid pace, within an hour later Krurin was greeted with Bastila and Master Zhar. Bastila looked at Krurin and explained to her Jedi Master what she had witnessed, the Twi’lek Jedi Master observed Krurin carefully and sensed that his power had become well manifested and now he had surpassed Bastila. Master Zhar and Bastila both looked at each other and spoke telepathically.

“He is more powerful than me,” Bastila whispered telepathically.

“Meditation improves the mind and it would see that Krurin has really manifested his abilities,” Master Zhar replied telepathically.

Master Zhar looked at Krurin, knowing that the former Dark Lord of the Sith had passed every test except one thing, a problem the Jedi Council were unable to solve from the farmlands. A fallen Jedi Knight who had killed their master in cold blood had submitted her soul partially to the dark side and hasn’t forgiven herself for the death of their master. The Twi’lek Jedi Master looked at Bastila and then at Krurin where he addressed him promptly for his next challenge.

“Your progress is amazing Krurin and your powers are incredible,” Master Zhar praised. “Now come, you will do one more duel with Bastila and then a quest you must do on your own.”

Krurin opened his eyes and lowered all the chairs and books to the floor where he had them. The promising Padawan followed Bastila and Master Zhar out the door, within a few minutes Krurin and Bastila fought again with their vibroblades. Krurin had caught Bastila by surprise with his charms, Bastila watched the redeemed Revan twisted and twirled the vibroblade swiftly at her.

“The way of the Jedi is always difficult, it requires great discipline,” Master Zhar stated. “Yet you are mere apprentice and your progress to manifest the Force is amazing.”

Master Zhar stepped in and stopped Bastila and Krurin fight against each other. The Jedi Master was pleased with the redeemed Revan’s progress. Krurin stood at attention and looked at Bastila and Master Zhar firmly. Bastila smiled at Krurin and watched Master Zhar shook hands with the redeemed prodigal knight.

“In all my years I have never seen one who had mastered the Force so quickly. You have done in weeks what many can’t do in years. I’m honoured to welcome you Krurin to the Jedi Order,” Master Zhar praised him.

Master Zhar looked at Krurin firmly and had felt the mind inside the redeemed Revan started to manifest quickly and his Force powers were amazing. The former Dark Lord of the Sith was then taken to the Jedi Council throne room and was given a task.

“Soon your training will end Krurin, I must ask you to do this next task before you get the title of Jedi Student,” Master Zhar said firmly. “First we test you on your general knowledge of the Jedi Code as its part of the tradition before graduating.”

            “I’m ready,” Krurin said confidently.

“Then say the Jedi Code Padawan,” Master Zhar replied.

“There is no emotion, there is peace. There is no ignorance, there is knowledge. There is no passion, there is serenity. There is no chaos, there is harmony. There is no death, there is the Force,” Krurin replied firmly.

“Excellent work Padawan learner,” Master Zhar nodded. “Now you get to choose which Jedi class you want to be. There is Jedi Sentinel, Guardian and Consular. Which would you like to be?”

Krurin stood there and thought carefully for a moment. He remembered that he had studied through the academy archives and found out that Revan himself was a proud, promising you pupil, who was classed between a Jedi Sentinel and Guardian. However the curious young Jedi pupil was left curious as to why Bastila did not mention about Revan at all.

“I like to be what Revan was Master Zhar,” Krurin said clearly. “I did some of my research and I like the Jedi Guardian better.”

“Interesting, so you learnt Revan’s history and I sense you admired his courageous footsteps… no matter I will allow you to become a Jedi Guardian,” Master Zhar replied. “Here is your green crystal to make the blade of your lightsaber.”

“Thank you Master Zhar,” Krurin smiled.

Krurin walked over towards a nearby bench desk. He disassembled the topaz silver compartment and inserted the green crystal inside. The young Jedi Student used his powers of the Force and wavered his hands around as the lightsaber compartment were slowly been assembled together, Master Zhar stood closely behind him and watched the prodigal knight’s progress amazed him greatly. Within minutes Krurin had assembled the lightsaber together and ignited it, he swung the lightsaber left to right to get the swing on it. Master Zhar then sensed the wounded mind of Revan had given Krurin the memories of his lightsaber tactics and the Jedi Master smiled at his progress.

“You are dismissed for now Krurin, get some rest,” Master Zhar ordered. “We shall let you do your assignment tomorrow.”

“Of course Master Zhar,” Krurin nodded.

Krurin walked back to the Ebon Hawk, as he’d walked back through the Jedi enclave. He noticed Bastila was staring at his direction, for the first time the young prodigal knight had sensed his partner’s emotions. He glanced at Bastila for a moment and smiled at her and then he’d flirted with her with his undeniable charms. Bastila saw the redeemed Revan tried to flirt with her but the stubborn Jedi mistress did not do anything in return. Later that evening, Krurin Masaror had returned to the Ebon Hawk and rested peacefully on his bunk while Bastila watched Krurin in the distance from the door and thought about telling her feelings for him but her stubbornness drove her away for the moment.
